Hello.

This is a place where I'll lay out the chronicles of my creative undertakings as well as an intentional space to celebrate the joys in my life.

I am a survivor of a rare malignant cancer and I thrive while managing Lupus (as my father does too).  I'm also a mother to an amazing little guy who just happened to be born in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.  My husband is amazing and has also conquered mountains beyond belief.  He is a survivor of a calcified malformation tumor of the brain and has overcome a stroke that occurred in late 2020 during an awake craniotomy at the Mayo Clinic.  

So, we're all warriors in the Maxwell house.  There's a lot of reasons to feel fear sometimes, but I've found exponentially more celebrations in contrast.  Seeing our story in such a concrete way truly makes me proud and inspires me to keep moving forward.  

Hence, the only logical name for this blog fell on my delight in the alliteration of these words:

Mint and Modish.
